Michael Thele

Michael Thele is a German guitarist who has made a name for himself through his solo and chamber music projects. Born in Duisburg, he studied classical guitar at the Hochschule für Musik Detmold, where he successfully completed both his diploma in instrumental pedagogy and his artistic final exam.
His training was enriched by masterclasses with renowned guitarists such as Hubert Käppel, Roland Dyens, Sergio and Odair Assad, David Russell, Alvaro Pierri, and Manuel Barrueco.
Michael was a member of Trio Montero and released the CD Estampas with the ensemble. He currently lives in Stuttgart and teaches at the Esslingen am Neckar Music School.
