Taunusgitarre was founded with the aim of organizing high-quality concerts for classical and South American guitar music in the Taunus region. We work closely with local partners and concert halls.

The guitar plays an important role as a complementary instrument within classical music and is a central focus of our collaboration. Together we are committed to integrating the guitar more strongly into the classical music offering and giving it more presence in the music world.

In order to make these musical experiences possible, we cooperate with sponsors who are committed to sustainable cultural support. In addition, Taunusgitarre offers its members and interested parties access to high-quality teaching materials, courses and scholarships for talented musicians. We work with renowned music schools and colleges and make it possible to rent high-quality instruments.

Our activities also include exchange programs, concerts, competitions and active public relations work to promote guitar music in the region and make it accessible to a wider public.
