Christopher Dean

Christopher Dean is one of the most respected guitar makers in Great Britain. Born and raised in England, he developed a passion for music and craftsmanship at an early age.

In the 1970s, he began his training as a guitar maker and was inspired by the great Spanish and English masters. His study of the construction methods of Antonio de Torres, José Romanillos and Daniel Friederich was particularly influential, and their influence is reflected in his guitars.

His instruments are known for their exceptional sound purity, balance and dynamic range. Christopher Dean places particular emphasis on the selection of high-quality tonewoods, excellent workmanship and precise intonation. His goal is to build instruments with a warm, singing sound and exceptional vocal clarity.
